What is Sapne Sajan Ke About?

The Plot

The movie begins with Jackie Shroff, a famous movie star, who hires Deepak as his new driver. Deepak is the son of Alok Nath, Jackie's previous driver who was unable to do his job. Deepak accompanies Jackie to a musical night program, where he meets Jyoti for the first time. They are instantly attracted to each other and exchange phone numbers. Meanwhile, Jyoti's mother Shalini is looking for a suitable groom for her daughter. She meets Gulu, a rich and arrogant man who claims to be in love with Jyoti. Shalini likes Gulu and agrees to arrange their marriage.

However, Jyoti is not interested in Gulu and rejects his proposal. She tells her mother that she loves Deepak, whom she believes to be a wealthy businessman. Shalini is reluctant at first but eventually gives her consent after meeting Deepak. Deepak also lies to his parents about Jyoti's background and convinces them to accept her. The two families meet and fix their wedding date.
